Detailed description
The paraglider technical inspection is designed to assess the wear and tear of the materials.
During this wing overhaul, we check the following points in our workshop:
- Porosity
- Line breakage (measurement in DaN and replacement of broken lines)
- Fabric tear (tension at which the fabric begins to tear)
- Trim: Measurement of the total line length compared to original specifications, and eventual readjustment.
- Visual inspection of all fabric
- Visual inspection of all lines
Following this inspection, a report is issued detailing the general condition of the wing. It is essential to have your wing inspected frequently to ensure its structural integrity and performance. Furthermore, a potential buyer of your used wing will request an inspection if it is more than 2 years old.
To order this service online, please download, print, fill out, and attach the workshop form to your wing, available for download in the ATTACHED DOCUMENTS tab above.
NOTE: We advise you to wait until the wing leaves the workshop before proceeding with payment, as the price may change depending on additional interventions that might be necessary after the wing has been examined by the workshop team (line replacement, trim correction, etc.).
Return delivery: specific rate for this service, please choose your equipment return method. Please note, the website will indicate "free delivery" by default, but the actual amount will be calculated based on what you have entered in "Equipment Return Shipping".
To send us your wing, you have 2 options: Drop-off at the store or shipping (we recommend Colissimo/La Poste with insurance up to the value of the wing).
Lead time varies throughout the year, between 1 and 6 weeks depending on demand.
