Kortel KOLIBRI EVO: The Excellence of Bivouac and Hike & Fly
The Kortel Kolibri EVO is an ultra-light cocoon (speedbag) harness designed specifically for distance hike & fly and bivouac flying. It stands out with its Dyneema line structure, offering an unparalleled weight/comfort ratio and remarkable stability in strong thermal conditions.
The 'hammock' type seat with leg straps has been finely crafted to offer perfect lumbar support, allowing hours of fatigue-free flying. Its most famous feature remains its exceptional storage volume: a vast back pocket complemented by an under-seat compartment capable of accommodating all bivouac gear (tent, sleeping bag, stove) without hindering the protection.
Safety is also a priority, with a 12cm Bumpair-type foam protector and a front-mounted reserve container integrated into the cockpit. Leg passage is fluid during takeoff, and settling into the cocoon is natural. The Kolibri EVO is the harness for those who want to make no compromises between featherlight weight and in-flight comfort.
The Kolibri EVO is a technical harness that is precisely adjusted via splices on Dyneema lines. Once adjusted, it offers a "tailor-made" fit. It comes with its foam protector, lightweight speed system, and soft-link connectors.
