The DONUT SL range offers two distinct designs, each optimized to adapt the parachute size to the specific force constraints of each PTV.
Technologies & Innovations
DONUT SL parachutes stand out for their technical innovations focused on lightness and efficiency:
- DONUT SL 90: This model adopts the characteristic hybrid shape of the DONUT range, combining the stability of a square parachute with the simplicity of use of a round parachute. It is made from a fabric specifically selected for its increased lightness, positioning it among the lightest reserve parachutes on the market.
- DONUT SL 110: Designed for higher PTVs, this parachute features a square design optimized for a more efficient distribution of forces across the entire canopy. The reinforcements have been redesigned for a perfect balance between strength and maximum lightness. AD Gliders collaborated closely with the Edelrid design office to optimize the distribution of forces. The SL 110's pod is designed for a two-stage opening (lines then canopy) and integrates a triangular flap facilitating its rapid extraction. To simplify packing, packing loops group the panels, the line system is finely adjusted and features a color code for intuitive identification. The slightly larger pod also facilitates packing.
