Level Wings Flame 2: The Ultimate Hybrid Without Compromise
The Level Wings Flame 2 is the evolution of the renowned hybrid wing that redefined the mini-wing / speedflying segment. It retains the versatile DNA of its predecessor while incorporating the latest technological advancements to offer more responsiveness, improved glide, and a more pronounced dive in turns.
Thanks to its new aerodynamic profile and redesigned air intakes, the Flame 2 offers optimized internal pressure and exceptional collapse resistance. The addition of mini-ribs on the trailing edge reduces drag, thereby increasing top speed and overall performance. Its 10 cm trim system radically transforms the wing: stable and lift-generating for thermalling in the closed position, it becomes fast and ultra-precise for proximity flying in the open position.
In flight, the "Level Touch" is clearly present: direct control, excellent energy retention, and a coordinated turn that allows for diving into the slope with disconcerting fluidity. Its extended recovery arc facilitates swoops and provides a powerful flare for smooth landings, even on tight terrains.
The Flame 2 covers a very wide spectrum. Sizes 16 and 19 are accessible for progressing in mini-wings, while sizes 7 to 10 are pure speedflying machines reserved for expert pilots. Behavior depends heavily on your wing loading.
