Detailed description
1.6 kg on the scale, a real paraglider above your head
The BANTAM 2 is Nova's ultralight miniwing, designed for hike & fly, climb & fly, and vol-biv. At 1.6 kg in size 12 and 1.8 kg in size 14, it disappears into your pack — and in use, it behaves like a straightforward and playful small paraglider, not an uncontrollable handkerchief.
Compact, Direct, Playful
With 33 cells, an aspect ratio of 4.5, and a line length of only 4.3 m, the BANTAM 2 offers direct handling and delightful agility. Feedback comes clearly through the risers and brakes: you feel everything, you can place the wing precisely. Whether gliding down steep slopes or in strong soaring conditions, it's a joy.
Even Simpler Takeoff
Compared to the first BANTAM, inflation is simpler and more forgiving — a real asset on the tight or steep takeoffs encountered in the mountains. Its temperament largely depends on the wing loading: docile at the lower end of the range, frankly dynamic at the upper end.

Cyrille's advice: the BANTAM 2 is the tool for experienced pilots who climb light and fly down, or who want a small wing for strong winds. Fully loaded, it becomes very lively: if you're new to miniwings, take the 14 and fly in the lower third of the weight range. This is NOT a wing for learning, nor a second wing for beginners.
