Pre-formed, the under-seat airbag has been redesigned compared to the Radical 3; it extends further forward from the harness and uses a rod made of a new, more resistant material. Certification tests have confirmed that the product offers optimal safety.
The airbag module is also reversible into a roll-top backpack, equipped for mountain use (multiple easily accessible pockets, pole holder, ice axe holder, hydration pack pocket...).
Its new ergonomic shoulder straps and removable waist belt allow for high carrying with a light pack or classic carrying when the pack is heavier.
The bag is adapted to the pilot's morphology, with a larger back panel on size L than on sizes S and M.
The carrying bag's volume is larger than that of the Radical 3; it has been designed to accommodate a Leaf 2 Light type wing, a reserve parachute, and an open-face helmet.
