Detailed description
The Wild 2 is Sup'Air's lightweight 2-line EN D glider: starting from 2,99 kg, for hike & fly competitions, bivouac flying, and light cross-country. We haven't flown it ourselves yet, so we're sticking to what Sup'Air publishes. It's aimed at autonomous D-rated pilots, with many hours and an up-to-date SIV. If you're hesitating between C and D, stay in C, and save your money.

Sup'Air presents the Wild 2 as a lightweight performance wing for hike & fly competitions, bivouac flying, and cross-country, with a 2-line architecture and reduced line-set to minimize drag.
Technologies and Innovations
- 2-line architecture: reduced line-set, rear riser steering in transition.
- 73 cells, flat aspect ratio of 6,86.
- Dominico fabrics: N20 soft and 10D soft for the top surface, 10D soft for the bottom surface.
- Ribs in Skytex 27 g Hard Finish for durability.
- Edelrid and Liros lines.
Handling and Safety
The Wild 2 is certified EN D (EN 926-2 and EN 926-1) and LTF in all four sizes. An EN D requires active and precise management, especially with rear risers during transitions, and good experience with flight incidents. This is not a progression wing.
Who is it for? And which size?
For the experienced D-rated pilot who engages in demanding hike & fly or light cross-country. The size is chosen based on PTV, your total flying weight fully equipped: XS from 60 to 77 kg, S from 65 to 85 kg, MS from 73 to 93 kg, M from 83 to 103 kg. Sup'Air also provides an optimal range per size, as shown in the table. Two colors: Azur and Coral.
