The Cosy 2 HF is the lightweight (Hike & Fly) version of the renowned Cosy 2. EN-A certified, it was developed to offer maximum lightness while retaining a robust structure capable of handling take-offs in challenging terrain. It's the ideal wing for beginner pilots venturing into hike & fly, or for experienced pilots seeking an ultra-safe, 'fail-safe' wing for mountain adventures.
Development of the HF version focused on material optimization. By utilizing lighter fabrics on the lower surface and a simplified internal structure, Way Gliders has significantly reduced both the weight and packing volume. Inflation is even more straightforward than with the standard version: the wing rises effortlessly, even in no wind, which is a major advantage for short or confined take-offs.
In flight, the Cosy 2 HF stands out for its exceptional stability. Its pitch and roll damping allows for serene flying even in midday thermal conditions. This wing provides just enough feedback for progression without ever intimidating the pilot.
