TRANSVERSE SHAPE AND CLEANER, TIGHTER CANOPY

Thanks to the experience of our paraglider designer colleagues, the Edge V12 features an additional seam in the canopy, near the leading edge, which allows for a better 3D profile.

Our main objective is always centered on aerodynamic performance, and the most significant aerodynamic gains are achieved by being able to maintain the cleanest and tightest possible canopy at all times. The pursuit of the tightest possible canopy is an ongoing journey.

Not only have we managed to add more curvature to the profile through the transverse shape, but we have also added more strength in the high-lift area thanks to the additional seams.

While the overall ride is smoother, bar feel and feedback are now more precise thanks to reduced canopy flutter. The Edge V12 maintains a cleaner canopy and increased performance in all situations, which is particularly noticeable when riding fast and hard.

The Edge V12 allows for further upwind riding while retaining more feel and bar feedback when the kite is at the edge of the window because the canopy lifts later (delaying the moment the canopy starts to flutter and lose power, which increases range).
