What is AUW (All-Up Weight)?

Accepted Answer

AUW is the total weight under the wing: your weight + harness + reserve parachute + helmet + bag + water. On average, count 15-20 kg of equipment on top of your naked weight.

Which EN certification for beginners?

For beginners, choose an EN-A certified wing. It offers maximum passive safety and forgives piloting errors. The progression to EN-B happens after approximately 50-100 flights.

How much does a paraglider cost?
