The ultra-light alternative to the 7 mm quick link
The IKS 3000 is the big brother in Niviuk's Interlock System range: a soft Dyneema connector designed to link the risers and/or the reserve parachute to the harness. A primary connection, in short — hence its generously dimensioned breaking strength.
2960 kg Breaking Strength
Compared to a 7 mm steel quick link (3125 kg) and an aluminum carabiner (approximately 2000 kg): the IKS 3000 performs as a primary connection, with negligible weight and bulk. This is the type of connector found on modern light and hike-and-fly equipment.
Sold Individually
Connector sold per piece: count your connection points (two for a pair of risers, one for a reserve depending on the setup) before ordering.

Cyrille's advice: the reserve connection is the last thing you improvise. If you're installing an IKS 3000 for your reserve, take advantage of a repacking session at the workshop so we can check the setup together — it takes two minutes, and you'll fly with peace of mind.
