NOVA Mentor 7: The Hybrid 2.5-Line Performance
The Mentor 7 marks a historic turning point in the lineage of the famous Mentor series. For the first time, NOVA uses a hybrid 2.5-line construction on its XC flagship. This technological innovation significantly reduces drag and offers pitch stability worthy of higher categories, while remaining firmly anchored in the safety requirements of the EN-B class.
Designed for pure cross-country flying, the Mentor 7 excels during accelerated transitions. Thanks to Speed Control, the pilot can steer the wing via the rear risers with unprecedented efficiency, adjusting the angle of attack without deforming the profile. This results in exceptional glide, even in turbulent air masses. The complex internal structure, including polyamide reinforcing rods and optimized 3D shaping, guarantees perfect shape retention across the entire speed range.
Despite its technical aspect and cutting-edge performance, it retains the "Mentor" character: homogeneous inflation and reassuring behavior in case of collapse. It is the ideal wing for distance pilots who want to optimize their average speed during transitions while maintaining a comfortable safety margin for long flying days.
