NOVA MENTOR 7 Light: The Hybrid Cross-Country Machine
The MENTOR 7 Light marks a major turning point: it's a 2.5-line hybrid design wing. This innovation allows it to offer the flight performance of a 2-line wing, especially during accelerated flight, while maintaining the comfort and passive safety of an EN-B wing. It is specifically designed for cross-country (XC) and hike-and-fly.
Thanks to its optimized lightweight construction (from 3.65 kg), it is not only pleasant to carry but also gains in inflation ease and responsiveness. The aerodynamic work, with increased canopy tension and an optimized Shark-Nose, gives it exceptional glide that challenges the competition in its category.
The strong point of the MENTOR 7 Light lies in its handling. It is equipped with HAC (High Arched Handles) on the C-risers, allowing full control of the angle of attack on the speed system without deforming the profile. This allows pilots to cross turbulent areas with maximum efficiency, transforming this High B into a true mile-eater.
The MENTOR 7 Light is a high-performance EN-B wing ("High B"). It is aimed at experienced pilots regularly practicing thermal and cross-country flying. Although EN-B certified, it requires active piloting to exploit its full potential in distance conditions.
