Our R&D team has created a harness that combines robustness, comfort, and lightness, making it the perfect tool for your adventures. Every detail, from the fabrics to the architecture, has been designed for intensive mountain use. It is the harness for extreme explorations, the one chosen by Antoine Girard for his Himalayan records.
Technologies & Innovations
The BV1 features an inflatable protection under the seat, ensuring optimal safety even with bivouac equipment in place. Its inflation system is designed for maximum efficiency in all circumstances.
The storage volumes are cleverly distributed: a 30L compartment under the seat for heavy equipment, a 32L rear compartment with zippered access and magnets, integrating a hydration pocket. Dedicated pockets under the cockpit and above the cocoon offer easy access to small accessories and cameras. A spacious left side pocket completes this setup.
For connected pilots, solar panel attachments are integrated on top of the cocoon, allowing you to recharge your batteries in flight.
The BV1's architecture ensures exceptional comfort thanks to Nitinol rods for back support and carbon reinforcements under the seat. The wide leg straps provide a bucket seat feel, improving in-flight sensitivity. The leg straps can be opened for easy donning, even with the harness loaded.

The Ozone BV1 harness is designed for vol-bivouac and mountain expeditions. Its use is recommended for experienced and autonomous pilots, aware of the demands and inherent risks of this type of practice. Ensure you have the necessary piloting skill level and experience to operate in demanding mountain conditions.
The BV1 is EN / LTF certified up to 120kg (PH-340-2021 by Air Tuquoise), attesting to its compliance with the strictest safety standards. The inflatable back protection must be fully inflated to meet these standards.
