The BION 3 is Nova's EN B certified tandem paraglider. Built on the principle of «as light as possible, as strong as necessary», it combines lightweight fabrics with durable reinforcements at stress points: 6.8 kg in size L, a remarkable figure for a tandem designed for intensive professional use.
Reliable takeoff, gentle landing
This is THE criterion for a good tandem, and the BION 3 excels: the wing rises precisely and predictably overhead, on all types of terrain and in various winds, with a reduced takeoff speed. Upon landing, the excellent flare potential allows for soft touchdowns even in no wind — your passengers (and your knees) will appreciate it.
Performance that adapts to load
Lightly loaded, the BION 3 is agile and offers a good speed range while remaining very stable. Heavily loaded, brake pressure remains moderate, and takeoff and landing speeds remain pleasantly low. Whether you're doing commercial rotations or taking the family for thermal flights on the weekend, the wing adapts.
