The 2-liner EN C that democratizes rear-riser control
The CODEX is Nova's first two-liner EN C: 65 cells, flat aspect ratio of 6.1 — deliberately reasonable for a 2-liner — and a semi-light construction of 4.2 kg in size XS. It is aimed at cross-country pilots who want to experience the glide and B-riser control of 2-liners, without transitioning to the demands of a D.
A 2-liner designed for accessibility
Where many 2-liners chase aspect ratio, Nova has prioritized consistency: simple inflation, homogeneous canopy overhead, healthy behavior in turbulence. Rear-riser control is precise and intuitive, and the glide in accelerated transition does the rest. This is the 2-liner you take in hand, not the one you tame.
Semi-light: robust AND hike-and-fly compatible
At 4.2 kg in XS, the CODEX slips into a hike-and-fly bag without sacrificing durability: the fabrics are chosen to withstand seasons, not just to shine on the scale.

Cyrille's advice: if you've been flying a three-liner C for two or three seasons and rear-riser control piques your interest, the CODEX is THE gateway to the world of 2-liners. However, don't jump onto it from a B, even a high-performance one: the transition to a 2-liner requires preparation, ideally with a recent SIV under your belt.
