Detailed description

The Alpina 4 GT is the EN-C that gives you the feel and performance of a high-end three-liner without forcing you to switch to a two-liner. Ozone designed it for pilots who loved their Alpina 4 or Delta 4 and want to stick with the same technology, the same behavior — with a more robust top surface. In the air: low sink rate, easy thermalling, and a glide that goes far. But it's a C: if you don't have 70-100 hours per year and some SIV experience under your belt, it's not for you yet, and that's perfectly fine.

From the Manufacturer

Ozone: « performance leader in the EN-C three-liner category ». The Alpina 4 GT adopts the proven profile of the Alpina/Delta 4 and adds an optimized internal structure and a more resistant top surface. All manufactured in the Ozone factory, with custom colors available.

Technologies & Innovations

  • Three-liner EN-C — the efficiency and comfort of a modern C, without the piloting demands of a two-liner.
  • Complex internal structure + optimized twist — profile that maintains its shape even in turbulent air.
  • Forgiving collapse behavior — moderate projected aspect ratio (4.4): low tendency to pitch forward after collapse.
  • Reinforced top surface (new « scheme design ») — increased durability.
  • Delivered with Concerto Light bag, folding pillow, line bag, and certificate of authenticity.

Flight Behavior & Safety

EN-C certified in all sizes. Intermediate to advanced wing, for pilots flying 70 to 100 hours per year and with SIV experience. Thanks to its ease of use and high level of passive safety, it is also suitable for pilots moving up from the category below — but it requires active piloting.

Who is it for? And which size?

For the cross-country pilot who wants a forgiving and high-performance C, and for the B+ pilot ready to step up. Size selection is based on PTV: rather high in the range for accelerated flight stability, rather centered for maneuverability. Three standard colors (PWH-P, UWA-U, LWO-L) + custom colors on request. Unsure about the size? Let's talk.
