Detailed description
There are days when you sit on the beach wondering if the wind will pick up. The Liteforce V2 is made for those days: a light wind wing, in 6.6 or 7.7 m², designed for early planing and efficient upwind performance when others are waiting. We haven't tried it ourselves yet, so we're relying on what Ozone publishes. On paper, the strong point is the weight, 2.97 and 3.23 kg including the boom. If your spot is windy all year round, you don't need it: save your money.

Ozone presents the Liteforce V2 as a light wind freeride wing, true to the spirit of the first version: plenty of low-end power, easy to use, with more consistent power and livelier handling than the V1. It features the new carbon boom from the range.
Technologies and Innovations
- Rigid Carbon Boom : included, with no play at the strut junction, for direct control.
- Performance 125 g Dacron Frame : announced 20% lighter than classic Dacron, with a pre-tensioned leading edge.
- Teijin TechnoForce 3×3 Ripstop Canopy and fewer cuts, to maintain shape longer.
- Additional Anti-Flap Batten to maintain canopy tension at the top of the wind range.
- Compact Shape : wingtips touch the water less.
- Stiffer Surf Handle for better control of the wing when drifting.
Behavior and Safety
Ozone announces early planing, efficient upwind performance in the lightest conditions, and a sporty behavior that remains comfortable at the top of its wind range. Beyond that, come in and switch to a smaller wing. Like any wing, it is not subject to certification. The swivel leash and waist belt are included: use them every session. In light wind, also think about your return: if the wind drops, it's swimming or paddling.
Who is it for, and which size?
For riders whose spot is often light, or who want to complete their quiver for windless days. Ozone's advice is simple: up to approximately 90 kg, the 6.6; beyond that, the 7.7. Around 90 kg, call us. Only one color is offered, published by Ozone under the name Carbon/Orange/White (the selector displays the manufacturer's code). Have a doubt? Call us, let's talk about it.
