Detailed description
The new generation EN C that plays in the 2-liner league
The Savage 2 is Sup'Air's performance cross-country wing: a hybrid "2.5-line" EN C, with a flat aspect ratio of 6.2 and a lightweight construction starting at 2.99 kg in XS. It is aimed at experienced cross-country pilots who want glide and precision, without committing to an EN D.
The 2.5-line concept
Halfway between a classic 3-liner and a true 2-liner, the Savage 2's reduced line set decreases drag and brings its handling closer to that of competition wings: firm inputs, precise timing, clear feedback in the brakes and risers. Yet, it maintains an EN C classification, with the safety margin that implies compared to higher categories.
Lightweight without being fragile
The semi-lightweight construction facilitates no-wind launches and lightens your pack for those hard-earned take-offs, while still being designed for regular cross-country use. It's a wing made to fly often, long, and far.

Cyrille's advice: the Savage 2 is a true cross-country wing for experienced C-class pilots — expect a good annual flight volume, strong thermals under your belt, and ideally a recent SIV. If you're coming from a B+, don't skip steps: come discuss it, and we'll see together if the transition is ripe. Neither too fast, nor too slow.
