Way Gliders Ruby 2: Intuitive Progression
The Ruby 2 is an EN-B (access) category wing designed by Way Gliders to accompany pilots from their first flights out of school and throughout their initial years of practice. It focuses on passive safety and ease of use, while offering surprising performance for its category. It's the ideal tool for those looking for a wing capable of doing it all: from local flights to first cross-country adventures, including hike & fly thanks to its contained weight.
Thanks to extensive work on the internal structure and line plan, the Ruby 2 offers effortless inflation, with no hard points or tendency to overshoot. In flight, it is characterized by excellent pitch stability, filtering out turbulence to allow the pilot to concentrate on flying and analyzing the airmass. Its turn is progressive and precise, making it easy to core thermals.
In terms of construction, Way Gliders uses robust and durable materials (Porcher Skytex 38), ensuring your wing will retain its flight characteristics for many years.
