AirDesign LIVI: Cross-Country Performance in Ultra-Light Mode
The AirDesign LIVI is the ultimate high-performance hike & fly wing. Based on the design of the Rise 4 (EN-B+), it has been entirely optimized to reduce weight to a minimum without compromising durability. It perfectly embodies the Austrian brand's "Light with Personality" philosophy.
Thanks to a sophisticated internal structure and the use of Nitinol rods across the entire span, the LIVI offers exceptional profile stability even at high speeds. Its aspect ratio of 5.92 places it at the top of the B category, offering remarkable glide for its class. The use of ultra-light fabrics (Dominico DOKDO 10D) ensures easy inflation, even in the most precarious high-mountain take-off conditions.
In the air, the LIVI stands out with precise turning and an excellent ability to bite into thermals. It transmits information clearly but dampened, offering a high level of confidence for long-distance flights. Its record compactness when folded makes it the ideal companion for vol-bivouac adventures or technical ascents followed by a flight back down.
The LIVI is a "High" EN-B wing. It is intended for pilots who already have experience in thermal flying and wish to start or improve their cross-country skills with ultra-light equipment.
