AirDesign Le Slip 2: Simply the Essentials
The Slip 2 from AirDesign is the evolution of the brand's famous ultra-light harness. Designed for those who believe every gram counts, it's aimed at pure Hike & Fly enthusiasts, mountaineers, and travelers. This version 2 refines ergonomics and ease of use while retaining the minimalist spirit that made it a success.
The structure is made of Nitinol (a shape-memory alloy) for automatic leg strap shaping, making it easier to put on even with crampons or skis on your feet. Comfort has been optimized by focusing on load distribution, allowing for longer flights without pressure points. The closure system is now more intuitive with differentiated buckles to prevent any assembly errors.
Despite its minimalist appearance, Le Slip 2 is extremely robust. It is designed to be used with the Airbag de Slip (sold separately) for those who wish to add certified passive safety without significantly increasing their flight pack weight.
Le Slip 2 comes with its soft-links (flexible connectors) for maximum weight savings. It is available in three sizes to suit all body types. For thermal flying or classic hike-and-fly, we strongly recommend adding the optional Airbag and a front-mounted reserve container.
