The AirDesign BOXR is an innovative reversible harness designed to simplify the lives of Hike & Fly pilots. Unlike many ultralight harnesses whose reversible bag is often too narrow, the BOXR offers a generous bag volume, easily accommodating a standard wing, helmet, and accessories without excessive compression.
In flight, the BOXR uses a leg-strap system (split-legs) that offers great freedom of movement during takeoff and precise handling. Its geometry has been designed to provide excellent stability, making it reassuring even in thermal conditions. Comfort is enhanced by a padded backrest and optimized load distribution.
For carrying, the 80-liter bag features ergonomic shoulder straps and a ventilated back, turning your approach walks into a simple formality. The BOXR is the ideal compromise for the hike-and-fly pilot looking for the simplicity of a robust and spacious "all-in-one" setup.
The BOXR comes with its soft-links. It does not have integrated protection, but it is compatible with the optional AirDesign removable Airbag for increased passive safety. Consider pairing it with a front-mounted reserve container for your distance flights.
