Detailed description
"Rid'Air Team's Opinion: The Cires is the benchmark for hemispherical rescue parachutes. Its excellent pendulum stability and reliability make it a reassuring choice for any pilot seeking an excellent weight-to-surface ratio without compromising on safety."
Niviuk Cires: High-Performance Circular Safety
The Niviuk Cires is a classic rescue parachute (PDA) that redefines in-flight safety standards. The result of a close collaboration with Vital Parachutes, a world leader in the field, it offers an exceptional compromise between lightness, stability, and opening speed.
Its accentuated circular geometry reduces pendulum oscillation to just 5-15°, ensuring a perfectly stable descent. Thanks to the use of lightweight technical materials, Niviuk has succeeded in optimizing the braking surface while keeping the weight down: for example, size M weighs only 1.7 kg for a maximum PTV of 110 kg, guaranteeing a soft and safe descent rate of 5 m/s.
Whether you are a recreational pilot or a tandem professional, the Cires adapts to your needs with three sizes covering PTVs from 80 kg up to 215 kg. It's the assurance of reliable equipment, EN and LTF certified, ready to intervene when it matters most.
Installing a rescue parachute in your harness is a technical operation. This parachute is not designed for freefall use or at speeds exceeding 115 km/h.
