Who is the Ruby 2 HF for?

The Ruby 2 HF is a lightweight EN B+ wing designed for regular cross-country pilots. Its glide, power, and speed will help you push your limits and explore your mountain range through the air.

Its contained weight, starting from 3.3 kg, and compact volume make it the ideal companion for hike & fly enthusiasts.

Handling The Ruby 2 HF is powerful and glides exceptionally well. This results in an easy and lively ascent during takeoff and very quick lift-off. Its turn is precise, with easily controllable roll. It has very little dive tendency in accelerated flight, allowing you to float through turbulence. The light fabric adds liveliness compared to the classic Ruby 2. Rear Riser Control The Ruby 2 HF is not just a lightweight glider; it's also an excellent cross-country wing. Beyond its high-end performance, it features an optimized speed system and risers allowing B/C steering. The feel is similar to a wing with 2 risers. Latest Generation Lines A clever blend of lines manufactured in Germany for optimal durability and exceptional rigidity. The Ruby 2 HF lines are made of Dyneema and Kevlar. First-Class Fabric The Ruby 2 HF uses 27 grams per square meter fabric with double coating. This means that despite its featherlight weight, your wing will have greater wear resistance and less porosity.
